Promoting integrated pathways in the treatment of neurological diseases is one of the main objectives of #CrossRoads, the conference to be held in Pisa on September 21-22 at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.

A workshop at the beginning of the event will highlight the need for a multidisciplinary approach: the challenges of the future require sharing and processing information, collaboration among experts in health and IT, researchers, institutions and specialized centers. All of this in order to guarantee the best possible care pathways and patients’ journey.

The importance of a fruitful combination of different expertise is the reason why speakers from different backgrounds will discuss best practices in neurological patient management: Nevio Dubbini, CEO of Miningful Studio, a startup operating in the field of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Statistics; Giuseppe Turchetti, professor at the Institute of Management of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, with research interests such as Economics and Health Management, Health Technology Assessment and e-Health; and Marta Gaia Zanchi, professor at the Biodesign for Digital Health center at Stanford University and expert in Health Technology, software, Need & Market Identification.
